For instance, 5 years ago, we couldn't make these intense graphics viewable on the internet like we can now. This was because most people where still stuck on "dial-up" internet which made graphic heavy websites almost non viewable by most people browsing the internet.
These days, we see less and less people on dial-up internet. More and more we see high speed and cable. Not too mention peoples browsers back then couldn't support what our newest browsers can now.
All of this made websites what they were back then and it could be visible to visitors of the date your website was created simply by the measure of graphics, design template, and the type of extras you have. When we look at websites, we can tell you right away whether the website is newer or outdated.
Having an outdated website can hurt your business!
This statement is so true it hurts. People want to see that your company can "keep up with the times". If not, they don't get a sense of togetherness, leadership, vision. Your visitors may only get a sense of amateurish, young company, not together, unorganized. These may seem harsh but the internet is dull, we sit at computers and create our own thoughts about a certain company. Every little detail that you portray online, is taken into the sub-conscious mind and processed into an emotion.
